Our styled photoshoot this month was one of timeless classics infused with glam, opulence and a hint of Gatsby. Our model donned a Kenneth Winston dress that was provided by Magnolias Bridal. The set styled by Linda of Design Exclusive was one for the ages, dripping in crystals, luxury fabrics and setting the mood by candle light it was worthy of a 1930’s film. When searching for a location that could handle such a luxurious and romantic scene we looked no further than “The Venue” of Cape Girardeau, MO. With its upscale environment and grand piano we made the Venetian room into a set that appeared out of a romance novel. I styled the models with Lezlie Meyer creating those full classic waves that anyone would envy and Sara Lou
Makeup completing the makeup with a bold red lip and glitter cat eye to bring our bride a modern flair. Then, for the final icing on the proverbial cake Kristen of Chloe and Isabel dripped her in jewels made for a starlet. A big shout out to Rental Land for the chivalry chairs!
For the photography I channeled the stars of this era, the women at this time seemed to have so much presence and power with their look and grace. I emulated that empowerment with romantic posing and a strong role with our female model. Thank you to our models Melissa and Zach who stuck out the night with us! Take a step back in time and enjoy our January 2017 Styled shoot!
